With the whereabouts of Chris Jones, a 30-year-old Carpet Technician at The Global Team in Austin Texas, remaining unknown since last Monday, friends, colleagues, and family are growing increasingly concerned. With each passing day, the mysterious disappearance deepens, and has prompted family members to request a wellness check by authorities, family members said.

Last seen on Friday, October 13, 2023, Chris Jones has not reported to work, has not been in touch with loved ones, nor has he been active on any of his social media platforms. 

“My son is Chris Jones and we have not heard from him in the last week. Has he reported to work?” asked Sarah Johnson, a concerned mother who wrote to her son’s employer nearly 9 days since hearing from him.

Family members have issued a missing persons investigation into the case, and a wellness check has been initiated to aid in the quest to find the missing individual.

Chris Jones is described by friends and family as an ambitious man who has been working to turn his life around since becoming employed at The Global Team. His sudden disappearance has left those who know him bewildered, as there have been no indications or reasons for him to vanish without a trace.

Chris had been staying with a friend in North Austin and would call to speak to his mother everyday, according to his colleague Mario. In addition to his unknown whereabouts, his roommate and family have been unable to locate his car, he said.

The tight-knit nature of The Global Team of Austin, Texas is rallying together to find their missing Carpet Technician with hopes that all is well.

Chris’s mother, Sarah Johnson, tearfully stated, “We’re desperate to find Chris and ensure his safety. If anyone has seen or heard from him, please come forward. Our family is suffering, and we need your help to find him.”
